This website presents the collections and services of Harsahaimal Shiamlal Jewellers (HSJ). Designs shown are indicative; every piece is confirmed in person or with our concierge before any purchase.

Prices and availability

Prices are shared on enquiry and are subject to prevailing gold, silver and gemstone rates. Rates displayed on this website are indicative and updated periodically.

Intellectual property

All designs, photography, films and text on this website are the property of HSJ and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Appointments

Appointment requests are confirmations of interest, not bookings, until confirmed by our concierge.

Hallmarking — which gold items are exempt

Not every gold article is required to carry a BIS hallmark. Under the BIS Hallmark Rules for gold jewellery, hallmarking is not mandatory for the items below, whether because the piece is small or because it is bought and sold in a different way.

· Jewellery types — Kundan, Polki and Jadau jewellery.
· Weight — any article weighing less than 2 grams.
· Forms of gold — gold bullion, meaning bars and coins, and threads of gold.
· Luxury items — gold watches and fountain pens.
· Trade-related — jewellery for international exhibitions, and goods for export or for business-to-business exhibitions.
· Jeweller turnover — jewellers with a turnover of up to ₹40 lakhs are exempt.
· Consumer-owned gold — old, un-hallmarked jewellery previously bought by consumers, which may be sold to jewellers.
· Industrial and medical — items intended for medical, dental, scientific or industrial use.

Ready pieces and made-to-order pieces

Polki and silver pieces, and most pieces in our collections, are ready-made and available to buy as they are.

Couture and High Jewellery are made for you. The time they take depends on the design, and we confirm it with you once the design is finalised — over a call or after your visit. As a guide, from the day the design is finalised:

· Gold — 20 to 25 days.
· Diamond — 30 to 45 days.
